Prof. Stefano Girotti presented (1 hour dissemination) the TOX-OER project, focusing on the online course “7.1 Patents and patent application” of the TOX-OER Project to the students of several Pharmacy courses:
To 130 students of his MODULO 1 of the Chimica Analitica course of the Degree in Pharmacy (in Italian) in Bologna.
To 70 students of his MODULO 2 of the Chimica Analitica course of the Degree in Pharmacy (in Italian) in Rimini.
To 41 students of his MODULO 3 of the Cosmetics ingredients analysis, quality assurance I Part –Introduction to quality management course of the Degree in Advanced Cosmetic Sciences (in English) in Rimini.
All these students to take the complete exam of the module must present themselves on the day of the exam with the certificate issued by the TOX-OER platform, after having attended and passed the course 7.1.

Usal Team has been awarded with a 3rd Prize in the III MiriadaX Educational Innovation Awards, for the course “Effect of toxic substances on the nervous system”. This course is based on part of the Open Educational Resources developed within the TOXOER Project.
In this III edition of the awards, have been competed 89 candidates from 44 different Ibero-American Universities and Institutions. The event was held on January 22th, 2019 in the auditorium of the Innovation Center of Telefónica, Madrid (Spain).

23/11/18: Prof. Stefano Girotti presented (30 minutes dissemination) the TOX-OER project to the 17 students of his course “Chimica Analitica Forense” of the Master “Analisi Chimiche e Chimico Tossicologiche Forensi”, that can use some coursess of TOX-OER platform, for example courses 3.1 and 3.2, to deepen their studies of Forensic Analytical Chemistry.

Prof. Stefano Girotti, together with prof. Roberto Mandrioli, dr. Michele Protti and dr. Marco Nenzioni, presented (two hours dissemination) the TOX-OER project to two classes of the 5th year of the Chemical-Biological Technical Institute “Ghini”, in Imola, Bologna.
In the first part of the dissemination, the project was illustrated and then some courses in detail and the game, in the second part the students, after the appropriate instructions, registered on the Moodle platform and tried the different courses and the game. At the end, the students participated in a short on-line questionnaire on TOX-OER (15 minutes) and expressed their opinions and suggestions. Both the teachers present and the students of the Institute expressed favourable opinions on the dissemination experience and on the project.

The collaboration between USAL and UPORTO partners of the TOX-OER project has reached the presentation and defense of the doctoral thesis of D. Alfredo Ginés Casanova Paso. This research work entitled: “Urinary biomarkers of kidney damage risk in the field of oncological therapy” was directed by Prof. Dra. Ana I. Morales and Prof. Dr. Francisco José López-Hernández from the University of Salamanca, besides one of the members of the evaluation committee was Prof. Dr. Fernando Manuel Gomes Remião from the University of Porto. D. Alfredo G. Casanova obtained the maximal honours.

On Friday, July 7, 2017, we participated in the new edition of the E+ Day UNIBO project, an event organized by the University of International Relations – European Project Units – to bring together the ongoing E+ projects with a vision of creating synergies and Enhancing the results.
TOX-OER INTERVENTION
During the presentations we were asked to tell our experience, our good cooperation between different departments of UNIBO and partners, highlighting the shadows and the internal and external lights, especially problems for the recognition of university credits for the modules proposed in TOX-OER. The site of the project was visited live, examining in particular the innovative aspects of gamification. The participants were about 50 people.

Automaatiopäivät22 seminar is a major forum for presenting the latest results from research, drawing attention to commercial products, systems, and services, exchanging real-life experiences, and – very importantly – bringing together automation professionals, as has been our tradition every two years. The seminar is directed to researchers, developers and end users both from industry and academia who share the interest, challenges, and needs for future automation and control systems.

Assoc. Prof. Přemysl Mladěnka (CUNI) continued the promotional campaign of TOX-OER project to non-partner countries. During his visit at University of Ljubljana he introduced the TOX-OER project, gave a lecture on cardiotoxicity (QT-interval prolongation, a base for serious cardiovascular toxicity) and invited the Slovenian colleagues for the TOX-OER promotional meeting in Hradec Králové (Czech Republic), which will take place on May 8, 2017.
